Overview
The role of Senior Python Engineer is a short-term contract focused on developing a production agentic AI product for a prominent name in cyber security. The engineer will take ownership of a specific area of the build, utilizing Python along with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask, to integrate large language models (LLMs) for enhanced accessibility. The position is primarily remote with the option of office space, aimed at delivering a significant product with a tight timeline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement features for the agentic AI application using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) through APIs to enhance functionality.
- Own and manage a self-contained section of the project while collaborating with a dynamic team.
- Participate in weekly backlog refinement sessions with the client to adjust priorities as needed.
- Maintain proactive communication to keep the team updated on progress and changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python programming, especially in production environments using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience in developing applications that utilize agentic AI and LLMs via APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Experience working within a team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining strong communication skills.
