Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to enhance our fintech consulting capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to drive project success and ensure alignment within complex delivery environments. Your expertise will be critical in defining detailed functional and non-functional requirements while supporting stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Drive clarity in complex environments by shaping requirements and aligning diverse stakeholder needs.
- Define and maintain functional and non-functional requirements for distributed workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to translate technical solutions into structured backlog items.
- Act as a proxy for stakeholders, making informed decisions on scope and prioritisation.
- Facilitate communication between technical and business teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
- Support delivery and implementation processes to align solutions with business objectives.
- Assess failure scenarios with QA to differentiate between bugs, enhancements, and new features.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a highly technical product environment.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system interactions.
- Knowledge of Agile or Kanban methodologies and full software development lifecycle.
- Experience in defining and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to simplify complex challenges into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and collaborative decision-making.
- Familiarity with performance, scalability, resilience, and availability concepts in modern platforms.
- Proficiency in creating process flows, sequencing diagrams, and relevant documentation.
