Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our financial consulting team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex delivery environments, engaging effectively with technical and business stakeholders alike. This role is focused on shaping clear requirements, driving product vision through collaboration, and contributing to architectural discussions within the context of high-performance technological solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive clarity in complex delivery situations by defining and maintaining functional and non-functional requirements.
- Shape the project backlog by collaborating with engineering and QA teams to create structured items and testable outcomes.
- Act as the stakeholders' proxy, making quick decisions on scope and prioritisation while driving backlog review processes.
- Facilitate discussions across technical and business stakeholders to enhance clarity and alignment on project objectives.
- Support delivery and implementation processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer use cases.
- Create process flows and documentation to enhance communication between operational and technical teams.
- Assist in testing phases by working closely with QA to define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables.
- Improve operational workflows by bringing a calm and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a high-performance technology environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of messaging and sequencing platforms such as Aeron, Kafka, or Hydra.
- Experience with low-latency or high-throughput messaging infrastructure in finance or technical fields.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Agile or Kanban methodologies and their application throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated capability to contribute to architecture and design discussions.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design principles and defining functional/non-functional requirements clearly.
- Experience in creating process flows, sequencing diagrams, and relevant documentation for technical and operational alignment.
