Overview
The Palantir Engineer will play a critical role in a healthcare technology program focused on managing and analyzing large, complex datasets. This position seeks experienced candidates with a background in Palantir technologies who can quickly integrate into an established team and contribute to essential services at a national level. The role primarily involves collaboration with software, data engineering, and architecture professionals to build and develop data-driven applications and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven applications.
- Design and integrate solutions utilizing Palantir technologies and the Federated Data Platform.
- Manage and develop API integrations, including API Management.
- Utilize AWS and cloud-based environments for engineering solutions.
- Adhere to CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitLab and/or GitHub.
- Foster Agile methodologies in project delivery using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to the enhancement of healthcare interoperability standards compliance, especially FHIR and HL7 specifications.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience with Palantir technologies and/or the Federated Data Platform.
- Background in software engineering, data engineering, or Palantir architecture.
- Experience in designing, building, or integrating data-driven applications and platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based engineering environments.
- Proficient in API development and integration, ideally including API Management.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Exposure to React is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
