Overview
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer for a 6-month contract to support a fast-scaling digital business in overhauling its analytics infrastructure. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering an advanced semantic layer using Looker, collaborating with various stakeholders to create reliable data models and improve the self-service analytics experience. A focus on clarity, consistency, and user-first thinking will be essential as you work in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Ingest and migrate data sets into the AWS Snowflake platform.
- Design and implement dbt models to create clean, consistent metrics.
- Build orchestration pipelines using Airflow.
- Create detailed documentation for dashboards, metrics, and models.
- Ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency across the Snowflake environment.
- Support a stakeholder-first approach to data usability and access.
