Overview
We are seeking four experienced DevOps / Platform Engineers to contribute to a critical Defence programme on a contract basis. You will join a dedicated engineering team focused on building, deploying, and supporting secure cloud and containerized environments, specifically within the Defence and security sectors, while ensuring adherence to stringent processes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deploy platform solutions.
- Build and maintain secure cloud and containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Automate deployment processes using GitLab CI/CD and Docker.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Support multi-environment deployments in accordance with security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Defence sector standards and requirements.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Platform Engineering.
- Strong background in AWS and Docker technologies.
- Proficiency in using GitLab CI/CD for automation.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD for deployment facilitation.
- Current SC clearance status is mandatory.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
