Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer for a 12-month contract, fully remote and available to candidates based in the UK. The Contractor will join a dynamic delivery team, collaborating closely with functional consultants, architects, and business teams to design, build, and support custom solutions and integrations across the Dynamics 365 F&O platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop customisations and extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations following best practices.
- Build and maintain integrations between D365 F&O and other systems using Data Entities, OData, custom services, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
- Develop reports, workflows, and batch jobs, utilizing SSRS and Electronic Reporting.
- Support data migration using the Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Manage code, builds, and deployments through Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and enhance system performance.
- Translate functional designs into high-quality technical solutions with functional consultants.
- Produce clear technical documentation and assist in testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation phases.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on development experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX 2012.
- Solid understanding of the F&O data model and extension framework.
- Experience with building integrations using Data Entities, OData, and REST APIs.
- Proficient in Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services, source control, and build/release pipelines.
- At least one full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementation experience.
- Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.
- Development experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or Project Management and Accounting (PMA) is preferred.
- MB-500 Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer certification is a plus.
