Overview
The ServiceNow SOMT Architect will oversee the design and delivery of IT Operations solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Collaborating with enterprise teams, this role emphasizes the development of scalable architectures, enhancement of operational observability, and leadership in AIOps initiatives across complex environments. The architect will engage with senior stakeholders while driving best practices in ServiceNow's Service Operations Management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow IT Operations solutions.
- Define scalable IT Operations architectures for large enterprises.
- Drive observability and AIOps initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as the Technical Authority for SOMT across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
- Integrate ServiceNow with various monitoring and observability tools.
- Provide oversight of CMDB architecture, data modeling, and governance.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including high-level and low-level designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Lead Consultant in enterprise programmes.
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow SOMT components such as Service Mapping and Event Management.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB architecture and Discovery processes.
- Experience with integrating ServiceNow and tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and others.
- Familiarity with AIOps concepts, including event correlation and anomaly detection.
- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Strong documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and project specifications.
