Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable ServiceNow SOMT Architect for a 6-month hybrid contract role. This position involves collaborating with a global IT consultancy to design and implement ServiceNow Technology Service Operations Management (SOMT) solutions for a prominent telecoms client. The successful candidate will be crucial in developing scalable IT operations architectures while mentoring team members and driving AIOps initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow SOMT solutions.
- Define end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned with enterprise IT operations strategy.
- Oversee the implementation of SOMT solutions across large enterprise landscapes.
- Act as Technical Authority for SOMT solutions, guiding best practices.
- Design and implement AIOps-driven event correlation and noise reduction.
- Establish SOMT governance, standards, and architectural guardrails.
- Mentor developers, administrators, and consultants on SOMT architecture and standards.
- Collaborate on integration of monitoring tools and CMDB data sources.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture with a focus on SOMT (Sales Order Management for Telecommunications).
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, IT Operations, and Enterprise Monitoring.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Proficient in ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Experience in defining data modeling and CMDB architecture.
- Ability to articulate high-level (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents and architecture diagrams.
- Proven track record of driving observability and AIOps initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and governance in ServiceNow projects.
