Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst to join us in a hybrid role focused on telecom security compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will engage directly with various stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and project teams, to ensure that business requirements align with IT solutions. This role emphasizes strong analytical skills, particularly with respect to the OFCOM TSR Code of Practice and compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, document and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop clear and concise user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions.
- Translate business needs into detailed System Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Use Agile delivery tools, including Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA, to manage backlogs and track progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery.
- Support test planning, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and defect triage.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process improvement reviews.
Requirements
- Understanding of the OFCOM TSR Code of Practice and associated requirements.
- Experience in compliance monitoring.
- Strong business analysis experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to write user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with requirements management and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Ability to define and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills.
