Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team on a remote basis for a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. This role is crucial in supporting a large-scale data and AI transformation program and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance for project deliverables.
- Define and document high-level process taxonomies and conceptual data models.
- Produce detailed test scripts and acceptance criteria, and manage UAT cycles with stakeholders.
- Gather and document business definitions and maintain a taxonomy across data domains.
- Work with operational leaders to effectively drive business adoption of data standards.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Map data dependencies between existing platforms and transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops to resolve analytical blockers and promote stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data migration or transformation projects.
- Solid experience with data transformation programmes, from requirements gathering to business adoption.
- Exposure to AI initiatives, including data preparation for machine learning use cases.
- Strong background in designing UAT frameworks and managing user validation processes.
- Hands-on experience in mapping process taxonomies and developing data dictionaries.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in high-pressure finance or FP&A environments.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Desirable knowledge of enterprise reporting frameworks, SQL, or BI tools such as Databricks.
