Overview
We are seeking an Interim Senior Fullstack Engineer for a three-month contract to enhance our application development processes. This role will involve collaborating closely with founders and engineering teams to design and implement critical features, CI/CD pipelines, and AI integrations within a fully remote UK-based environment. The candidate will leverage their extensive experience to ensure high-quality, production-ready code is delivered while maintaining security and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the end-to-end solution design for new features within an established architecture framework.
- Take ownership of complex development tasks related to architecture and performance considerations.
- Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and manage AWS resources and applications using Docker.
- Identify opportunities for platform architecture improvement focusing on performance, resilience, and security.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance internal processes and developer experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend and frontend applications at a senior level.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Experienced with continuous deployment pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of security, application performance, and scalability best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in modern coding tools, including AI-assisted development tools.
- Right to work in the UK.
