Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer proficient in .NET and React for a 6-month contract role, fully remote. The selected contractor will collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the digital platform for a retail company, focusing on delivering impactful and customer-oriented solutions through the design and development of scalable eCommerce applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing eCommerce applications using React, C#, .NET, and Azure.
- Deliver end-to-end features across the stack from frontend experience through to backend services.
- Work in short iterative cycles alongside product and eCommerce teams.
- Contribute to the design of cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain robust APIs and services using .NET.
- Develop responsive, high-performing front-end experiences using React.
- Support testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in full stack development with React (TypeScript preferred) and C# / .NET (Core / .NET 6+).
- Experience building and supporting eCommerce or digital platforms.
- Good understanding of API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience improving performance and user experience in digital applications.
- Experience working in agile, product-led teams.
