Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer/Developer with expertise in Azure, .Net, and API development to join a global organization for a 6-month contract. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define functional requirements and implementing modern technology solutions, moving away from legacy systems. The position allows for a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in the office and 3 days of remote work each week, fostering a collaborative environment for feature delivery and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate systems using Azure and .Net technologies.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements.
- Design, estimate, develop, test, and release new features.
- Collaborate with team members on feature delivery, including design and code reviews.
- Implement modern engineering principles and technologies such as Generative AI and API services.
- Utilize database technologies and manage data pipelines and ETL processes with Azure services.
- Work within an Agile Scrum environment to ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements
- Strong proven experience with Azure and cloud-native technologies.
- Expertise in .NET frameworks, including C#.
- Full-stack development experience from the user interface to database management.
- Knowledge of modern engineering principles, including Generative AI and API development.
- Experience with database engines, particularly SQL Managed Instances and Azure SQL.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Spark.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum.
