Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Azure Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on networking to support various Azure and infrastructure deployment projects. The contractor will work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers, engaging in both on-site installations and configuration tasks. This role involves advanced troubleshooting and ensuring efficient infrastructure performance while also providing opportunities for travel to different sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop Azure infrastructure builds and deployments.
- Configure Cisco and Meraki network installations.
- Implement Palo Alto firewall configurations.
- Manage physical networking, including cabling and rack configurations.
- Oversee ISP circuit installations and connectivity.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and observability.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Assist with AV/infrastructure installation as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Azure infrastructure.
- Experience in Cisco and Meraki networking.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewall configurations.
- Proficiency in physical infrastructure and networking.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
