Overview
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic Strategy & Architecture team on a 6-month contract basis. In this hybrid role, the contractor will primarily focus on leading infrastructure architecture for cloud migration projects, particularly transitioning legacy data centers to Microsoft Azure, while ensuring the development of secure and scalable platforms. Collaboration with other teams will be essential to support various IT initiatives and transformations.
Responsibilities
- Define infrastructure architecture standards, principles, and reference models.
- Lead architecture for data center-to-Azure migrations and Azure Landing Zones.
- Cover areas including networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and governance.
- Support enterprise transformations, including ERP implementations and SaaS integration.
- Develop architectures that are separation-ready for M&A and divestment programs.
- Facilitate IT/OT integration with a focus on security and network segmentation.
- Provide architecture governance and assurance across System Integrators.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Infrastructure Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure Landing Zones.
- Excellent understanding of compute, storage, networking, identity, and security principles.
- Experience with Entra ID, Zero Trust, and network segmentation strategies.
- Proven background in cloud migration and ERP transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting M&A, separation, or divestment projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and architecture governance capabilities.
- Experience in managing or assuring System Integrator performance is preferred.
