Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for a large-scale transformation contract. This role will involve collaborating closely with the Programme Manager, Executive Sponsors, and Systems Integrators to design a comprehensive solution that integrates various business functions across an enterprise-scale application landscape. The position requires a skilled architect who can balance strategic objectives with practical delivery while ensuring alignment across the program’s various workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 landscape.
- Act as Design Authority for the programme.
- Define and govern solution architecture principles, standards, and patterns.
- Lead architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Asset Management, Project Operations, and Field Service workstreams.
- Review and approve functional and technical solution designs.
- Drive architecture governance throughout design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
- Collaborate with implementation partners to validate proposed solutions and oversee integration architecture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 programmes.
- Extensive experience across Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture within complex global organisations.
- Experience leading architecture governance in large programme environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience across business and technology teams.
- Minimum of 7 years in Solution Architecture and 9 years with Microsoft Dynamics, particularly in manufacturing or asset-intensive industries.
- TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with transitioning programmes into long-term BAU support models.
