Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in an exciting AI initiative within a leading insurance company. Collaborating with business, product, and technology teams, this position aims to shape and deliver AI-powered capabilities safely and effectively. The analyst will engage stakeholders to understand their challenges, design evaluation scenarios, and ensure that AI processes are auditable and governed appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, product, and technology teams to identify problems and desired outcomes.
- Design realistic evaluation scenarios for agentic workflows, including normal, exceptional, and adversarial cases.
- Review evidence and outcomes to ensure AI capabilities are progressing appropriately.
- Map underwriting and operational journeys, pinpointing decision points and opportunities for safe automation.
- Ensure AI-enabled processes conform to standards of practicality, auditability, and governance.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Business Analyst in a cross-functional product or software engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience in complex, regulated, or data-rich environments.
- Practical understanding of automation and AI integration concerning controls, auditability, privacy, and security.
- Genuine interest in Generative AI and the ability to critically assess AI outputs.
- Experience in commercial insurance, MGA, underwriting, or the London Market is highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in financial services or another regulated sector will also be considered.
