Overview
The Solutions Architect will take the lead in designing scalable technology solutions within the supply chain sector, focusing on areas such as procurement, logistics, and inventory management. This role involves collaborating closely with business leaders and technical teams to ensure that solutions are innovative, standardized, and aligned with organizational goals. With a hybrid working model, the contractor will be an integral part of driving continuous improvement across the technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own solution architecture across supply chain capabilities including procurement, logistics, inventory, and stock management.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end technology solutions.
- Produce architecture designs, roadmaps, and technical documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Drive technology innovation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, architects, and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect.
- Strong supply chain domain expertise covering procurement, logistics, inventory, and stock management.
- Experience designing solutions within complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of supply chain platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Crunchtime, or similar.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience contributing to architecture governance and standards.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification preferred.
