Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead a major cloud and data migration project for a large-scale marketplace platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the target-state data architecture on AWS and overseeing the end-to-end migration process while minimizing downtime. This position requires collaboration with a dedicated team and will demand a strong experience in managing high-volume data and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design the target-state data architecture on AWS.
- Plan and oversee the end-to-end data migration process.
- Manage dependency mapping and cutover sequencing for low-downtime migration.
- Ensure data cleansing and reconciliation throughout the migration phases.
- Collaborate closely with team members during key meetings and workshops.
- Monitor and assess performance and cost during the migration.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data and cloud migration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS-based solutions.
- Proven track record of designing data architecture for large-scale systems.
- Ability to manage complex dependency mapping and cutover sequences.
- Ecommerce experience is a plus.
