Overview
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to lead a critical data and cloud migration project for a large-scale marketplace platform. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the target-state data architecture on AWS and developing a comprehensive migration plan that minimizes disruption to the live platform while managing high volume transactions. You will work closely with a team of professionals and engage in innovative research-led solutions that push the boundaries of marketplace technology.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end migration plan, including data movement and sequencing.
- Design the target-state data architecture on AWS.
- Manage dependency mapping and cutover sequencing for the migration.
- Ensure data cleansing and reconciliation throughout the migration process.
- Develop strategies for low-downtime migration and rollback procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Participate in key meetings and workshops to facilitate project success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data and cloud migration at scale.
- Hands-on expertise in designing data architecture on AWS.
- Proficient in migration planning, including dependency mapping and cutover execution.
- Experience with data cleansing, reconciliation, and rollback processes.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms is a plus.
- Ability to manage high-volume transactional systems with minimal downtime.
