Overview
We are seeking multiple DV Cleared Software Engineers to work on a key Defence programme focused on developing an AI-enabled Defence Intelligence capability. Depending on your specialization, you will contribute to Front End, Back End, or Full Stack development efforts aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making processes. The role requires a strong background in relevant technologies and the ability to work onsite in London four days a week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions.
- Design and maintain scalable applications using modern development tools and frameworks.
- Optimize existing systems for improved performance and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.
- Develop REST APIs and backend services to support various front-end applications.
- Integrate machine learning models and AI capabilities into existing systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment using platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices for cloud-native applications.
Requirements
- Active DV Clearance is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Front End, Back End, or Full Stack development.
- Proficiency in frameworks and languages such as React, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with REST APIs and backend services development.
- Familiarity with databases like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or VMware.
- Understanding of AI and Machine Learning applications in software development.
