Quantitative Developer

Overview

The Quantitative Developer will play a critical role in a growing fintech organization by transforming a complex fixed-income model from C# into a well-structured Python codebase. Working closely with quantitative analysts, the developer will focus on enhancing the model's performance, maintainability, and production readiness while being part of a small, high-impact team.

Responsibilities

  • Re-engineer a complex C# quant model into a Python codebase.
  • Refactor and modularize the existing codebase for better clarity and structure.
  • Collaborate directly with quantitative analysts to productionize the model.
  • Improve the performance and maintainability of the codebase.
  • Implement data validation and orchestration processes.
  • Utilize Pydantic and PostgreSQL for data handling and validation.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Python.
  • Good experience with C# programming.
  • Familiarity with Pydantic and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience with complex numerical or data-heavy systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of fixed-income or broader financial markets is a plus but not essential.
