Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Statistician with a focus on Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITCs) and Network Meta Analysis (NMA) to support a global life sciences consultancy. The contractor will provide strategic statistical and health economics expertise as part of a collaborative team aimed at enhancing market access and health technology assessment (HTA) strategies. This is a remote role open to candidates in the UK or US, offering a flexible work schedule for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic statistical and health economics expertise to support ITCs and NMAs for global clinical development and commercialization strategies.
- Design and deliver evidence-generation plans with advanced analyses of clinical and real-world data.
- Collaborate with Global Access, Product Development, and Commercial teams to align evidence strategies.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive methodological innovation in evidence generation.
- Monitor evolving Access and HTA trends to keep evidence approaches current and impactful.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, or related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Access and HTA processes, clinical research methods, and payer evidence requirements.
- Proficiency in statistical methods such as Generalized Linear Models, Survival Analysis, and Network Meta-Analysis.
- Skilled in statistical programming using R and GitLab; familiarity with SAS, Python, or similar software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines.
