Overview
We are seeking a Subsea Production Systems Engineer to join our Subsea and Pipelines team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive technical expertise in subsea production systems to support the design, installation, commissioning, and operational phases. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of subsea engineering projects aligned with industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide design and package management for subsea production systems.
- Conduct detailed subsea production system studies for expansions and fault rectification.
- Support installation, commissioning, and operational phases of subsea systems.
- Contribute to the selection and definition of subsea equipment and architecture.
- Develop options for subsea field layouts and oversee technical interfaces.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
- Coordinate and supervise Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in subsea production systems and control technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards pertaining to subsea systems.
- Familiarity with subsea control systems, including hydraulic components and umbilicals.
- Hands-on experience in front-end engineering (FEED) and project phases for greenfield and brownfield developments.
- Proven ability to manage technical interfaces and vendor deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Track record of successful installation and commissioning of subsea production systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, consultancy, or offshore environments is preferred.
