Overview
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Business Analyst and Excel Modelling Consultant to join a focused consultancy project team. The successful candidate will gather and analyze operational data from over 30 international supply chain sites, creating Excel models to evaluate current operations and identify improvement opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with operational stakeholders and requires advanced analytical capabilities to support strategic decision-making in supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track information received from more than 30 sites.
- Review submissions and identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear data.
- Consolidate information from various sites and systems into a consistent structure.
- Build and maintain the core Excel assessment and modelling suite.
- Analyze sites, parts, suppliers, inventory, demand, and performance data.
- Develop the data and analysis necessary for a global supply-chain network model.
- Build scenarios and sensitivities to evaluate alternative operating solutions.
- Quantify potential cost savings, efficiencies, and working-capital improvements.
Requirements
- Strong, practical Business Analysis and modelling experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query and advanced formulas.
- Experience in consolidating and analyzing large datasets across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of supply-chain operations, including logistics and inventory management.
- Proven ability to identify patterns and gaps within incomplete data.
- Experience building adaptable models for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Confidence working with operational stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Ability to communicate complex findings into clear business recommendations.
