Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Technical Architect specializing in ecommerce platforms, particularly Sitecore, to play a pivotal role in a leading international entertainment and leisure organization. In this senior, hands-on position, the contractor will work collaboratively with product teams and technology leadership to shape the strategy and architecture of digital solutions, with a focus on ensuring scalability and resilience in web and app environments.
Responsibilities
- Define architecture and establish engineering principles for digital platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams and technology leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Ensure solutions are cloud-first, scalable, and resilient.
- Oversee technical roadmaps and make key architecture decisions.
- Work closely with third-party engineering partners and vendors.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in engineering practices and processes.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams.
- Influence technology decisions across large-scale, consumer-facing platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital and customer platform architecture.
- Strong expertise in Sitecore, including modern and headless implementations.
- Solid understanding of web architecture and technologies like .NET, React, and Next.js.
- Experience with Azure and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
- Ability to challenge and collaborate with third-party engineering partners.
- Experience in managing technical roadmaps and making architecture decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior leadership levels.
