Overview
We are looking for a SC + NPPV3 Cleared Senior Technical Delivery Lead/Scrum Master to manage a complex technology delivery programme within the policing, crime, intelligence, and public-sector environment. The role involves providing Agile leadership and technical oversight, while coordinating governance and assurance efforts, and engaging with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and public-sector partners. This position is initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension and allows for a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove blockers and manage delivery dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Architects.
- Support backlog management and delivery planning.
- Track delivery progress using JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Provide clear delivery reporting and Agile metrics.
- Support phased rollout, operational transition, and acceptance.
- Coordinate governance, assurance activities, and manage risks and dependencies.
Requirements
- Current SC + NPPV3 clearance.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Delivery Manager.
- Demonstrated technology delivery experience within policing, crime, intelligence, or a comparable regulated public-sector environment.
- Strong Agile/Sprint leadership skills.
- Experience coordinating governance, assurance, risks, dependencies, and technical approvals.
- Proficient in stakeholder and supplier management.
- Experience with data, analytics, or technology platforms is highly desirable.
- Relevant Agile qualifications such as PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe are advantageous.
