Overview
We are looking for a Technical Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery in a cloud-first engineering environment focused on AI Marketplace applications. The contractor will be responsible for guiding Scrum ceremonies, managing risks, and ensuring technical excellence by reviewing Java and Spring Boot microservices code. This role involves collaboration with teams to influence technical decisions and drive engineering quality for critical national infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and commitments.
- Review Java/Spring Boot code and influence microservices design.
- Ensure solutions align with AWS cloud-native principles.
- Drive CI/CD optimisation, DevSecOps, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Oversee observability and containerised deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Proficient with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
- Experience in CI/CD, Docker, ECS/EKS.
- Strong technical leadership skills.
- Ability to challenge developers on code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Experience within regulated environments.
