Overview
We are seeking two Full Stack Clojure Developers to contribute to a project focused on modernising an existing technology stack. The successful candidates will primarily work with Clojure, as well as React and TypeScript for frontend development, and will engage in a collaborative environment to enhance both backend and frontend systems. This contract role offers flexibility with onsite requirements for two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Clojure.
- Create responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases.
- Document development processes and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Clojure development.
- Recent Clojure experience within the past 18-24 months is acceptable.
- Proficient in React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Java as a secondary programming language is beneficial.
- Experience in full stack development encompassing both backend and frontend components.
- Ability to work on-site two days a week in London.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
