Overview
The Test Engineer will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems, focusing on quality throughout the development lifecycle. This contract role will involve close collaboration with engineers across software, hardware, and systems domains, emphasizing the importance of best practices in testing and quality assurance. The position lasts up to 12 months and offers an opportunity to contribute to high-stakes projects where engineering excellence is paramount.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases and testing frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
- Take ownership of test environments, test documentation, and quality metrics.
- Champion best practices in test automation and quality assurance to ensure consistently high engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing within embedded systems environments.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing.
- Experience in defence, semiconductor, or similar mission-critical sectors.
- Familiarity with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol).
- Experience working with LTE and ESN.
