Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Strategy Manager to lead the testing efforts for a major technology transformation program focused on modernizing a legacy mainframe estate. This fully remote position will involve collaborating with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, and various delivery partners to define and enhance the overall testing strategy while ensuring compliance with business-critical deadlines. The program is expected to continue through multiple phases until 2028, making this role essential for the successful delivery of core business functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Define and enhance the overall programme testing strategy.
- Establish a robust testing framework for mainframe modernization.
- Lead testing governance across complex streams, ensuring quality and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with programme leadership and delivery partners on testing quality.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and challenges in the testing lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance on test planning, execution, and automation.
- Ensure alignment of testing activities with programme milestones and deadlines.
