Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Consultant to join a digital transformation consultancy on a contract basis, focusing on local government projects. The consultant will analyze existing services and processes, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to service improvements for various initiatives. This hybrid role will require working on-site two days a week in Sussex or Thurrock, and will involve collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing services and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and redesign.
- Gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and support the development of future-state service models.
- Engage with key stakeholders to shape recommendations and support the delivery of service improvements.
- Work independently in a client-facing environment, providing expert consulting on transformation projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as an independent consultant.
- Proven track record of delivering consulting or transformation projects, preferably within the public sector or local government.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and service redesign.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities, particularly in engaging senior stakeholders and managing client relationships.
- Background in consulting preferred.
