The role of Transport Regeneration Infrastructure Programme Director is a high-profile interim position focused on leading major regeneration and infrastructure initiatives in Dudley. Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of major regeneration and infrastructure programmes.
  • Establish governance frameworks, milestones, and risk management processes.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and elected Members.
  • Manage the Operational Readiness Programme for Metro Phase 2 and Dudley Interchange.
  • Oversee the Dudley Ecosystem Masterplan, including its procurement and stakeholder engagement.
  • Align major initiatives with economic growth strategies and optimize investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders and partners.
  • Ensure successful project delivery and establish a robust programme framework for future initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading major programmes in regeneration or infrastructure.
  • Strong background in local government or public sector environments.
  • Experience managing politically sensitive multi-disciplinary programmes.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and elected Members.
  • Expertise in programme governance, risk management, and reporting.
