Overview
The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst role involves supporting a major portal delivery programme by focusing on UAT planning, execution, and defect management. The analyst will work closely with business users, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure effective testing processes are in place, aiding in the business acceptance and go-live phases of the project. This is a hands-on position requiring occasional travel to the London office.
Responsibilities
- Develop UAT testing strategies and execution plans.
- Create and manage UAT test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Oversee the execution of UAT and facilitate test evidence collection.
- Log, triage, and track defects along with resolution processes.
- Coordinate activities with business users, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Support the organization of release readiness and acceptance testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UAT planning and execution.
- Strong skills in test scenario, case, and script creation.
- Experience with defect logging and resolution tracking.
- Familiarity with testing web portals or digital platforms.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in supporting go-live activities and release readiness.
