User Researcher

Overview

As a User Researcher, you will work remotely for a duration of 3-6 months, with potential extensions. This role focuses on conducting user research specifically for public sector projects, leveraging your expertise in Government Digital Service (GDS) methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centric design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
  • Design and implement research methodologies tailored for public sector projects.
  • Analyze research data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to ensure alignment on user-centered design solutions.
  • Facilitate user testing sessions and workshops.
  • Develop and maintain user personas and journey maps based on research outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a User Researcher in the public sector.
  • Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and practices.
  • Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in conducting user testing and workshops.
