Overview
We are seeking an experienced freelance Manhattan Active WMS Consultant to support a major warehouse transformation programme. In this role, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Manhattan Active Warehouse Management, collaborating closely with warehouse operations and business stakeholders to facilitate a successful WMS implementation. Your focus will be on configuring, optimizing, and enhancing the Manhattan Active platform to align with operational needs while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
- Configure, optimise and enhance the Manhattan Active platform to meet operational and business requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders and warehouse operations teams to gather requirements and improve processes.
- Support solution design activities, including integrations, APIs and data flows.
- Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, deployment and go-live readiness.
- Provide hyper care support and troubleshoot production issues following deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Provide technical leadership, best practice guidance and knowledge transfer throughout the programme lifecycle.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end Manhattan Active WMS implementations.
- Strong configuration, customisation and optimisation experience within Manhattan Active.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience supporting integrations, APIs, testing, deployments and production support activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience leading go-live, hyper care and operational transition activities.
