Overview
We are seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer for a six-month contract focused on the integration of large language models (LLMs) and advanced AI capabilities into production-grade software. The successful candidate will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop reliable and scalable AI solutions that meet critical operational needs while ensuring adherence to high standards of reliability and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI software.
- Apply emerging AI architecture patterns, including RAG, agentic workflows, and LLM orchestration.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions efficiently.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of AI-powered features in a high-availability production environment.
- Contribute to raising AI engineering practices and standards across the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing products involving AI, LLMs, or applied machine learning/data science.
- Proven experience deploying AI models or systems into production.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and patterns such as RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM orchestration.
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Active UK SC Clearance is required.
