Overview
The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud reliability in a secure environment, playing a key role in the strategic migration from AWS to Azure. This remote role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient operations within a leading financial services organization. Candidates should possess extensive hands-on experience with AWS, alongside skills in Terraform and cloud migration processes.
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure automation and cloud migration processes from AWS to Azure.
- Develop and manage reusable CI/CD pipelines with integrated quality gates and security measures.
- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and execute network security architecture and system monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to share results and document processes effectively.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in a DevOps environment.
- Utilize strong scripting skills to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including services like Route 53, ECS, and IAM.
- Experience with migrating applications from AWS to Azure.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; Azure Bicep is a plus.
- Strong skills in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, especially GitHub Actions.
- Good understanding of networking principles related to application deployment.
- Excellent scripting abilities in languages such as Bash or Python.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
