Overview
We are seeking a Backend Developer to work on an initial 3-6 month contract with a LegalTech business. The selected contractor will collaborate with a team to design and develop a high-volume, scalable backend platform that interfaces with a new AI product, leveraging C#, SQL, and API integrations within an AWS environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems to support an AI product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Integrate APIs and manage data flow between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the backend infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Document technical specifications and system architecture.
- Ensure high standards for code quality and maintainability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong experience in developing distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
- Proficient in SQL, specifically PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with eDiscovery or legal technology is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Nuix, Relativity, or similar processing/review platforms is advantageous.
