Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst for a 4-month contract position beginning in the last week of August. The selected candidate will work primarily on migrating and rebuilding critical business reporting systems using modern data tools such as dbt, Amazon Redshift, ThoughtSpot, and HubSpot. Collaboration with the Data Engineering team and internal stakeholders is essential to ensure accurate replication of existing business logic and the development of new reporting models.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild data models in dbt to ensure operational continuity and performance accuracy.
- Understand and replicate existing scoring methodology, inputs, weightings, and thresholds.
- Support integration efforts with HubSpot and health triggers, working closely with the Data Engineering team.
- Develop comprehensive engagement and outcome reporting layers within ThoughtSpot.
- Migrate and validate a selection of legacy reports as per stakeholder requirements.
- Identify and facilitate solutions for existing data ingestion gaps, ensuring data reliability and documentation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt, including modelling, testing, and documentation.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with Amazon Redshift.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately reverse-engineer existing data/business logic.
- Experience in building analytics models rather than merely consuming data.
- Familiarity with ThoughtSpot, especially in report and dashboard creation.
- Experience with HubSpot integrations and customer data management.
- Background in customer health scoring or SaaS analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively in varied settings.
