Overview
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in a global investment firm, focusing on private equity and credit markets. In this contract position spanning approximately 12 months, the successful candidate will collaborate with teams in Fund Operations, Investor Relations, and Capital Formation, addressing complex business challenges and implementing effective solutions in the areas of data, technology, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Support projects across Fund Operations, Investor Relations, and Capital Formation.
- Turn ambiguous business problems into practical data-driven solutions.
- Interrogate and analyze data using Snowflake.
- Gather requirements and improve processes for various initiatives.
- Explore opportunities for automation and AI implementation.
- Work independently across multiple workstreams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within private markets or institutional investment management.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills with exposure to Snowflake.
- Experience in data, SaaS, CRM, or investment-platform projects.
- Proficient in requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Practical experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
