Overview
MedicsPro is looking for BSE-accredited Echocardiographers and Cardiac Sonographers to assist with an anticipated backlog reduction service in NHS echocardiography departments in Wales. In this on-site role, you will work during weekend daytime clinics, conducting and reporting echocardiograms to help improve patient care and clinic efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform and report echocardiograms during weekend clinics.
- Produce accurate reports using McKesson or the relevant local system.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow local clinical governance and quality-assurance procedures.
- Support NHS echocardiography waiting-list reduction initiatives.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of each clinic.
- Manage an expected workload of up to 12 scans per day, depending on clinic requirements and patient complexity.
Requirements
- Current BSE accreditation.
- Experience using McKesson or an equivalent cardiac reporting system.
- Ability to perform and report echocardiograms independently.
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical, reporting and quality standards.
