Overview
The Azure Cloud Architect will engage in a hands-on technical role, focusing on both the architectural design and delivery of Azure-based data integration and event-driven systems. This position requires close collaboration with client stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to develop reliable systems that connect disparate platforms while ensuring technical decisions are well communicated and supported. The ideal candidate will blend architecture and software development skills, particularly in C#, to deliver robust solutions in a consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Design Azure architecture for data integration and event-driven systems.
- Write production-level C# code.
- Build and maintain event-based messaging and publish-subscribe patterns.
- Develop serverless components using Azure Functions.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Make architectural decisions and justify them effectively to clients.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in hands-on C# programming.
- Experience with data integration platforms and strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of event-based messaging and publish-subscribe systems.
- Proven experience with Azure Functions and landing zones.
- Background in client-facing consulting roles, preferably with Microsoft partners or consultancies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
