Overview
The Cloud Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling Cloud Migration initiatives for a FinTech client, focusing on enhancing the Infrastructure estate. This contracted position involves collaborating within a small team while also driving Cloud and DevOps best practices independently. The engineer will leverage their robust Azure expertise and automation skills to support the overall tech function.
Responsibilities
- Drive Cloud and DevOps best practices within the tech function.
- Collaborate with team members to advance Cloud Migration efforts.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD processes, particularly with GitHub Actions.
- Address Networking challenges and enhance Cloud Networking architectures.
- Provide insights and support for AI initiatives when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Services.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies, especially GitHub Actions.
- In-depth knowledge of Networking principles, particularly in Azure Hub-and-Spoke.
- Familiarity with AI technologies is a plus.
