Overview
We are seeking two Cyber Security Consultants to support a large financial services organization in a focused program of vulnerability remediation. This hands-on role, which allows for hybrid working, will involve collaborating with technical teams to effectively identify, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt and drive tangible progress in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that remediation actions are completed successfully.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities within the infrastructure.
- Engage with technical teams to drive remediation actions to completion.
- Interpret vulnerability reports and track actions effectively.
- Collaborate with suppliers and management to resolve blockers.
- Utilize strong Excel skills for data analysis and progress monitoring.
- Improve reporting processes through automation where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure, cyber security, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to coordinate and drive infrastructure remediation initiatives.
- Confidence in interpreting technical reports and prioritizing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Checkmarx.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, particularly in Excel.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
- Proactive and resourceful approach to work, with a focus on overcoming challenges.
- Experience in the financial services sector or regulated environments is a plus.
