Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engagement & Community Coordinator for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, focusing on enhancing cyber security awareness and community engagement within a global organisation. The role involves collaboration with the EMEA cyber security team, supporting various initiatives such as a major conference, community platform development, and regional working groups on cyber security regulations. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your exposure to cyber security in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Help organise and deliver a major EMEA cyber security conference, including venues, speakers, agendas, content and stakeholder coordination.
- Support the development and launch of an EMEA cyber security community SharePoint site in collaboration with an external consultancy.
- Coordinate regional working groups focusing on European cyber security regulation, including NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Research and curate relevant open-source cyber security intelligence, news, regulatory updates, threats, and industry developments.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across multiple European businesses in cyber security, IT, and data protection.
- Support additional cyber security community and engagement activities as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in cyber security awareness, communications, events, or community engagement.
- Some prior exposure to cyber security in a professional setting.
- Confidence in communicating and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
- Organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing activities.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Interest in further developing knowledge in the cyber security field.
