Overview
We are seeking a D365 F&O Functional Consultant specialized in transactional finance to join a finance transformation program focused on implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective configuration, solution design, and process optimization in finance operations. This role is for an initial 5-month contract, allowing for a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional consulting expertise in D365 F&O finance modules, including AP, AR, GL, and Cash Management.
- Analyze business requirements to develop functional solutions using D365 F&O capabilities.
- Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes, managing invoicing and payment workflows.
- Configure and troubleshoot finance functionality, ensuring accurate transaction flows.
- Investigate complex functional issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
- Review existing configurations and processes, recommending improvements and optimizations.
- Contribute to functional design documentation, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Assist in data validation, deployment, and post-go-live support during implementation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise in transactional finance processes like AP, AR, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
- Hands-on experience with D365 F&O configuration, troubleshooting, and functional design.
- Comprehensive understanding of supplier and customer transaction processing and accounting principles.
- Experience in system testing, data validation, and deployment during D365 F&O implementations.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with finance stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a finance context.
