Data Analyst

Overview

The Data Analyst will engage closely with Product, Commercial, and Partnership teams in a hands-on analytical role focused on utilizing product and behavioral data to enhance user engagement and drive commercial recommendations. This six-month contract requires the analyst to perform in-depth data analysis and collaborate with various stakeholders, leveraging tools and techniques to improve product performance and data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own comprehensive analyses from hypothesis formulation to insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze user journeys and behavior to identify product enhancement opportunities.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to assess incremental impacts.
  • Utilize product analytics tools like Amplitude for data interpretation.
  • Write advanced SQL queries and employ Python for in-depth analysis and automation.
  • Build and maintain analytical data models using dbt.
  • Create self-service reporting for product performance and experimentation metrics.
  • Work with external datasets and APIs to enhance partner and business data quality.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in SQL with strong hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis tasks.
  • Experience with dbt for analytical model building.
  • Familiarity with product analytics or experimentation platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Strong background in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Lightdash, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts related to experimental design.
  • Experience in analyzing customer behavior and identifying conversion opportunities.
