Senior Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support an innovative AI initiative within the insurance sector. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology specialists to drive the development of AI-driven solutions. This hybrid position allows for flexible working, with the expectation of 2-3 days per week in the office, and is set to begin in the second week of September.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology colleagues to identify challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Design evaluation scenarios for agentic workflows, covering normal, exceptional, and adversarial cases.
  • Review evidence and outcomes to ensure progress of AI capabilities is well-founded.
  • Map underwriting and operational processes, emphasizing decision points, hand-offs, and areas for automation.
  • Ensure AI-enabled processes are practical, auditable, and adequately governed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a cross-functional product or software engineering context.
  • Experience in complex, regulated, or data-intensive environments.
  • Strong understanding of auditability, privacy, security, and controls surrounding AI and automation.
  • Genuine interest in Generative AI and the capability to critically assess AI outputs.
  • Desirable experience in commercial insurance, with familiarity in MGA, underwriting, or the London market, or relevant financial services sectors.
