Overview
The Finance Transformation Consultant will play a pivotal role in leading the transformation of an extensive Client Accounting function as part of a major Finance function overhaul alongside a Workday implementation. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to assess the current structure, identify areas for improvement, and design a future-state operating model to optimize performance while facilitating change across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead an end-to-end review of the current Client Accounting function.
- Assess organisational design, reporting lines, and capability.
- Design the future-state operating model for Client Accounting.
- Identify opportunities for restructuring and centralisation.
- Review accounting processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Make recommendations regarding headcount and team structure.
- Collaborate with the Workday implementation partner to align processes with technology.
- Develop an implementation plan and transformation roadmap detailing priorities and deliverables.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience leading the restructuring of a large Client Accounting team (100+ people).
- Strong background in Property Management and Real Estate finance.
- Detailed understanding of Client Accounting and Service Charge Accounting.
- Experience redesigning finance operating models and organisational structures.
- Proven track record of delivering significant organisational change.
- Experience with high-volume, junior transactional resources.
- Knowledge of centralisation, shared services, or GBS design.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
